A. If the CD version you have is below 2.3:
1) Download SP98UPP.EXE and save
it to a tempory directory.
2) Restart the system in DOS mode.
3) Run the SP98UPP.EXE file (it self-extracts).
4) Press enter for the current sub-directory or select a sub-directory
for the extracted file (two should be extracted).
5) type UPDATE.BAT in the directory that contains the file. This should
automatically copy the file over to the correct directory.
6) Restart the system. The system should act more stable now.
B. If you have CD version 2.3 or above:
1) If you have installed a previous version of the soundpro driver please
see A.
2) Otherwise the driver on the CD should work correctly with Windows
98.
