• When running at PC133, the "SDRAM Cycle Length" setting may need to be set at "3" instead of "2" for stability.  Ignore the warning message at boot-up when set at "3".

• Adjust DRAM Speeds in CMOS for CAS Latency and DRAM Timing setting for various RAM speeds.

 

 

Bank 0/1, 2/3, 4/5 DRAM Timing. Options are 8ns, 10ns, Normal, Medium,
Fast, Turbo.

1. For PC-133 SDRAM, set CAS latency to 3 and DRAM Timing to 8ns.
2. For PC-100 SDRAM, set CAS latency to 2 and DRAM Timing to 8ns.
3. For PC-66 SDRAM, set CAS latency to 2 and DRAM Timing to Normal.

• You can set the memory bus speed at a different speed from the system bus speed.  For example, if you are using a Celeron running at 66Mhz bus clock, you can still use PC100 memory stick running at full 100Mhz memory bus by setting the "DRAM CLOCK" to "HOST CLK+33".  On the other hand, if you are running a 133Mhz CPU, you can still use your PC100 memory stick by selecting "HOST CLK-33".
